The Receptionist

The Receptionist è Janet Groth, receptionist al New Yorker dal 1957 al 1978, ed è il titolo di un libro appena uscito su quella sua esperienza (Algonquin Books), che contiene molti nomi e aneddoti piccanti. Perché, come dice lei stessa, "Before signing books, she was interviewed by Foster Hirsch, a film scholar and an old friend of hers, who claimed to be shocked by those parts of the memoir which treat her private life.
